Community and Sharing

We want to have a positive impact on the region and more than just our olive groves. Therefore, we have established partnerships with local farmers, with practices based on the same principles, of which a part of their olive production contributes to the production of ÉpicAnt Olive Oil. We seek to support farmers who follow regenerative agricultural practices or who want to convert their conventional systems into systems of abundance. The price of olives varies depending on several factors, the most relevant factor being the health of the ecosystem. So we try to safeguard traditional ecosystems, century-old olive groves or small family farms, regardless of the amount of production.
Our arms are wide open to discuss ideas, solutions and share our learning, exactly because environmental education and knowledge sharing are central pillars of this project. And this sharing is reciprocal. We spread knowledge to those who visit us, and to those who stay at Monte da Estrela and pass through the olive grove. In partnership with Monte da Estrela, we organized two Yoga and Permaculture events, with the Permaculture sessions open to the local population. ÉpicAnt wants to advise farmers as much as learn from them. The balance between sharing experiences and sharing science and technology is essential. More educational events coming soon.
